Book Review: Conversations With God: Part 3

This book is about a man who has a conversation with God. He goes over many of the pressing questions you have probably had about religion (mainly Christianity) and tries to offer answers on those issues.

Despite all the hub-bub about this book (which I wasn't even aware of until after I read this book) I think this series is a must-read. I don't recommend going into it with a lot of background on it, and I don't recommend hearing too much about other people's thoughts on it. I will say that I enjoyed the book and I will read it again and again in the future.

I feel it gives a good overview of some of the most pressing questions I had growing up and dealt with many of the contradictions I was offered as a child. I felt some of the writing style took away from the book, such as the use of word-tampering (disease as dis-ease, etc), but shined at a testament to love and truth. It demands nothing, yet offers everything.

I will share one other person's thought on this book. He said it was a 'lazy man's theology'. Well, I don't know if believing in God and acting with love should be difficult.

I want to thank my Grandpa for lending me this book and getting me on to this series. I will give it back to you soon Grandpa!

Do you think that writing a book about your most intimate conversations with God and publishing it for the world to see is kind of like filming yourself having intimate kinky sex and then putting it on the internet?

Don't you think that asking leading questions shows your opinion on the book?

Spiritual porno? No, I don't think so.
